On September 15, 2022, senior researcher of Economic Policy Research Center – Shota Gvineria delivered a session on "Disinformation" for public servants representing national minorities. The session included following topics: what is Disinformation; Information as a tool of power; National Interests; Ecosystem of Information; Information distortion and Misuse; Myths about NATO; Information Manipulation. team of the Economic Policy Research Center as a Senior Research Fellow The session was held at the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration within the framework of “Public Servants' Integration Program” aims to develop professional skills, general and sectoral language competencies of public servants representing ethnic/national minorities, to promote successful use of the date language by them in the workplace, to strengthen cooperation with Georgian-speaking colleagues, thereby to ensure their integration into a public sector. 26 beneficiaries from 3 target municipalities (Ninotsminda, Gardabani, Dmanisi) are involved in the program.
