On September 13, 2022, the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Mzia Giorgobiani delivered a session on "Decentralization" for public servants representing national minorities. The session included issues regarding decentralization strategy; European practice of local self-government; Devolution of authority. The session was held at the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration within the framework of “Public Servants' Integration Program” aims to develop professional skills, general and sectoral language competencies of public servants representing ethnic/national minorities, to promote successful use of the date language by them in the workplace, to strengthen cooperation with Georgian-speaking colleagues, thereby to ensure their integration into a public sector. 26 beneficiaries from 3 target municipalities (Ninotsminda, Gardabani, Dmanisi) are involved in the program.
