Technical supervision of infrastructural projects


Technical Supervision of Infrastructural Projects is a professional educational course designed for those who take part in or conduct the technical supervision of infrastructural projects. The course will introduce participants to legislation, regulations and the existing practice of the technical supervision of the construction of roads, bridges, administrative buildings, pipelines and other infrastructural projects as well as implementing the process and managing changes in the conditions of the completion of technical tasks.

The course’s aim is to raise the qualification, improve practical skills and contribute to the professional development of individuals working in local supervision services. The course not only provides theoretical knowledge but also teaches participants how to operate as a group. During the course, participants will visit ongoing infrastructural projects in order to receive first-hand practical knowledge and experience.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have a thorough knowledge of the regulations regarding civic construction. They will also have substantial knowledge of Georgia’s road system. Participants will have learned how to evaluate completed infrastructural work projects according to active norms. The course also highlights the issues of  water supplies and their rehabilitation and upgrade processes. Throughout the course, participants will be able to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.

  • Technical supervision of road constructions and amenities
  • Civic construction (administrative buildings, kindergartens, etc.), norms and technical supervision
  • Construction of water pipelines and their technical supervision
  • Civic education and the basics of ethics

Course duration:  2 weeks

6 lectures a week, Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 16:00

2.  Participants will also have to provide the following documents for registration:

a) Copy of Electronic ID Card

b) Notice from the workplace (if applicable)

c) Representatives of national minorities are required to present documents that prove their efficiency in the state language at the B1 level. If a participant is not in possession of such a document, the individual will have to pass an appropriate language assessment exam.

GEL 665 - Includes only the course.

GEL 980 - Includes the course, hotel accommodation and full board.

A contract will be signed between the parties before the commencement of study.
